Arrisgado ran from the intake service center at the Oahu Community Correctional Center and exited through a gate that opened to let a vehicle through. A jail guard shot him in the back near St. Anthony Church on Puuhale Road. Arrisgado, who was still alive, was taken back to OCCC before being taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
