Hatori ran from police during a traffic stop and was tased. An officer faield sevaerl other attempts to tase Hatori. He resisted attempts to arrest, and officers pinned him down by his legs and shoulders. A lawsuit filed by Hatori's family alleges that he was beaten. He became unresponsive after officers handcuffed him. He was pronounced dead at a hospital.
